Dutch herring salad
You will need:
- 2 salted herrings
- 2 pickled herrings
- 1 large pickled gherkin
- 1 large red onion
- 1 tart apple
- 3 tablespoons crème fraîche
- 2 tablespoons full-fat Greek yoghurt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- salt and freshly ground pepper
- fresh dill
Preparation:
- Cut herrings, gherkin, on ion and apple in 1 cm cubes
- Mix crème fraîche, yoghurt and lemon juice, season with salt, pepper and dill
- Stir in the chopped-up ingredients
- Serve, sprinkled with dill
